The schools will be colocated on Penn State's University Park campus in State College, Pennsylvania.

Classes

The Summer Schools will be meeting in the Willard building on the Penn State campus. The Principles of Software Security school will meet in Room 365 and the Cryptography school will meet in Room 367 .

The Nittany Lion Inn and Atherton Hotel are slightly more expensive hotels within easy walking distance of the venue.

There are many other hotels in the area that are either a slightly longer walk or driving distance from campus. Most of them offer a courtesy shuttle to and from campus, though it is best to check at the time of your reservation whether this service is available. Participants can use any number of booking websites to search for good rates (hotels.com, expedia.com and priceline.com, for example).

Parking

Visitor parking permits can be purchased daily at the visitor kiosks shown on the link below.

Parking in the lots by Beaver Stadium or the Bryce Jordan Center is $4 per day. Parking by the IST Building is $6 per day. Parking in the decks is more expensive ($1 per hour).

State College is accessible by air (State College Airport -- SCE) and is within a few hours' drive of New York, Washington, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh.

Registration is free for accepted participants. Participants are responsible for their travel and accommodations. A number of travel scholarships are available to help defray a portion of the travel costs.
